I have been deer farming for almost 10 years.  I have always paid close attention to my overall herd health doing everything from cleaning feeders and disinfecting water troughs to liming and fertilizing my pens.  But I never vaccinated.

In 2010, my breeding program expanded.  I started buying deer from other farms and with that started having more and more health issues.  Pneumonia, E-Coli, you name it, I had it!  But I still refused to vaccinate believing you could ruin their immune system in the process.
